Very nice place with easy reach of M62. Pav was great, really welcoming, helpful & always around making sure everything was as it should be. Very quite room, lovely rural setting. We had a beautiful curry. This place is ideal for wedding's. We would definitely stay there again, the price was very reasonable as well.

3 couples booked and travelled to attend a friend’s funeral. On day of check in each received a text stating no restaurant available.|When arrived found it was in the middle of a major refurbishment with workmen on site and skip etc in car park.|Room :- warm and comfortable but bedside table sticky and covered in dust. |Bathroom:- extremely cold, floor along with bath mat and utility unit visibly dirty. Number of half used small shower gels.|As had booked bed and breakfast asked about same stated would supply same to room. This arrived when we returned late in the evening. Brought straight into room to utilise the milk. Though in date form clumps on using. Carton of apple juice open and half empty. |Advised to leave in the morning through the fire escape. Decking on same extremely slippery and had to come down a spiral staircase with case .

Had a lovely gin and korma with my partner today. Service was top notch, especially Pav, the lady who served us and made us feel at home straight away, nothing was too much trouble, even though she was losing her voice bless her! Amazing place/views and people, highly recommend ❤️

Many thanks to the welcoming and efficient staff last night. We held our sports club meeting there. The friendly welcome and service was absolutely fantastic. The food was gorgeous. SO tasty and fresh: compliments to the chef. Thanks for hosting us. We will be back. Special thanks to the lady who looked after us.

The staff provides exceptional service, readily accommodating all requests. The cuisine is outstanding, arguably the finest Indian food I have experienced.

On the evening of November 5th, my friend and I visited the area with our dogs, seeking a tranquil environment away from the fireworks, We were also looking for somewhereto eat. While The Turnpike typically does not permit dogs, the proprietor graciously made an exception, given it was Bonfire Night.

I whole heartedly recommend the Turnpike for its fantastic Indian food, location, ambiance, and the professionalism of its staff. I will definitely be returning.

First time at The Turnpike. Booked table for 4 on line. Great welcome on arrival. Fantastic food. We all had different dishes which were all fabulous - compliments to the chef. Extremely good Indian food which I would highly recommend. Great service, very clean, good value, good atmosphere and lovely helpful staff. We will definitely be going again! Best Indian food I have had in the area!

The Indian restaurant is excellent. Service was attentive and all the food we ordered were amazing. The mango curry chicken was especially appetizing, so good to go with rice or the naan. The other lovely thing is this place locates on the motorway but it looks out to a whole mountain of green. It's amazing to sit inside and enjoy the mountain view. Decoration inside is so tasteful.
