Tropicana Juice Food Bar Headquarter

I have been coming here everytime I visit Melbourne since I was a teen.
The owners may have changed but it is still what I remember everytime.

Sad to see some of the lower star reviews recently.
In My opinion Tropicana is still 5 stars.

I used to come here all the time 10 years back and decided to pop in for nostalgic reasons and to get a blast of goodness in the form of fruit juice. I was always a fan of the South American juice with secret ingredients. It tasted very different to what I remember and quite watered down with no real identifiable flavours. Reading some of the reviews here, it seems there may have been a change of ownership? Anyways, for $10 my nostalgic memories were killed.

The headquarters of the famous Tropicana juice bar chain. Dare I say this is the most recognisable shopfront in all of Melbourne. An institution that, despite the mammoth amount of oranges hung at it’s entrance, doesn’t actually have many orange-based offerings.

The charm of such an establishment that is not afraid to break the rules of convention cannot be understated. It wrote the rules on visual spectacle!

The service is chirpy, loving, and the microphone used to communicate juice orders to the kitchen, despite being about 2.5m away from the chef… PURE GENIUS.

As for the juices/smoothies… just order the Mango-Colada, close your eyes, and take a big sip. Review perfection yourself!

Came to have the açai - I ordered a large ‘Honey I’m Nuts’ and ate in. The portion size is very large. The bowls the girl showed me were the takeaway sizes so I think you get a lot more when you eat in. The açai was very generous with toppings, but a little too much honey for me. Would recommend this spot!

We crave these juices & smoothies weekly.
Tropical set up, lovely friendly staff and so fast! I usually get my juice made in 1.5 mins. That's the one with the secret ingredient giving the natural high for 4hrs. Much better than a caffeine hit and actually does just make you feel really good and healthy too.
Highly recommend. Have a loyalty card as a regular and due for a free smoothie next time!

Stopped by on way to work to grab a bacon and egg roll (turns out they had a few options - I got ‘the lot’) with a juice. The lovely lady behind the counter suggested I try their ‘secret’ juice mix. Both were quickly prepared (it felt like I just took a seat at the table and it all came out).
The bacon and egg roll comes with Turkish bread so it was bigger than I thought and was nice and fresh. Hit the spot!
The juice was also fresh and tasty and can see why the it is so popular.

This place is sooooo good the first time we ordered twice before we left, then visited again before we left Victoria. This juice is so fresh with every single drink option you can imagine. They offer a zillion choices or you can make up your own blend. I ordered orange lemon juice 3X. I wanted to try something else but it was so good. Everyone in my fam got something different they loved. The waffle was simple and scrumptious, so sweet, one of the best I've ever had. The location is perfect for people watching and figuring out the day.

It's been a while. But still great friendly and welcoming service. Southern American delight juice delicious. Smashed avo - fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Well done.
