Premier Inn Pickering hotel

Usual good standard for Premier Inn. The staff were typically friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to make it easier for us.
Situated in easy drive to Pickering center. Very clean and tidy throughout. Lovely location.
Food to a good level as well. Again staff attentive and efficient. Always clearing and cleaning as well as making sure guests were looked after.
Ample parking in well kept carpark. Lit well on a night time so felt very secure and safe. It could not be easier to register car number plate.

Really great location on the edge of the Pickering town, the staff at this hotel and really helpful and kind! Any inquiries we asked about they helped a lot, plenty of parking. Really quiet and peaceful in the evening. Rooms where fabulous, really clean and spotless. A wide range of choice on the dinner menu and a decent selection for the breakfast buffet.

There was a small delay on arrival but lady on reception was great and check in was fine. Had a premier room and it was perfect. Soundproofed, air con, big tv for the tennis final, good coffee machine thing and nice powerful shower. |Fantastic comfy bed, slept like a top. |Drinks from the bar were reasonable and good quality, staff superb. |What’s not to like? |Cheers!

The staff are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the room assigned to us was for disabled guest i guess , room spacious , clean but the room smelled of urine. I cannot pinpoint where the smell was coming from but i think its either the bed or the duvet. We did not bother to ask the staff for us to relocate rooms or change beddings because we arrived very late at 3am. We eere tired and sleepy so just slept on it and the following day we were rushing to get ready to attend a wedding. When we arrived at night for our second night stay, we were dis appointed that our room wasn't cleaned. We did not have clean cups and coffee to make. This was a bad experience for us staying in a premiere inn hotel.

Just returned from our 3rd stay at the Premier inn ..again was not disappointed staff so very friendly nothing too much trouble a great location close to the moors and all local attractions ..breakfast couldn’t fault as always. We choose a meal deal was excellent value for price will certainly choose that again ..We treated ourselves to a premier plus room was spotless clean and fridge was a bonus to store drinks and snacks …I have one gripe myself and husband found the shower very difficult as had to climb the high bath ..who has baths anyway? A walk in I would give 10/10 unfortunately 9/10 ..other wise was a pleasant stay

Stayed for 2 nights in a family room on the boiling hot may bank holiday weekend.
The room was clean
The air-conditioning worked perfectly.
We slept really well.
The family room was a bit bigger than many 4 bed premier inns that we have stayed in recently.
Free WiFi was fine
Usb chargers next to bed

Normal premier inn breakfast, which was running out but staff were running off their feet trying to replace.
Check in and out easy.
Couldn't be more obvious that you need to put your cars number plate into the I pad to avoid a fine.

Ideally located for flamingo land and north Yorkshire railway.

We had a lovely walk around Pickering where there are plenty of restaurant options.

This was my 17th different Premier Inn so I felt secure that I knew what I was getting. Overall it was as expected. Spotless hotel, comfy bed and friendly staff. However, I experienced something I have never experienced before. On Sunday, after a day exploring, we arrived back and I went to book a table for our evening meal. Only to be told "Sorry, only guests with prebooked meal deals can eat tonight!" We were on a trip exploring the area so couldn't be sure when we would be back so hadn't done the meal deal. There was no explanation for this action, just sorry, no! I was offered a list of local restaurants and a taxi number if I didn't want to drive. Oh and "This doesn't apply to breakfast, you can just turn up for that!" If you can possibly attend to everyone at breakfast, why not dinner? I was shocked and extremely disappointed with this level of service. I always thought the restaurant on site was part of the appeal but clearly not. When it suits they discriminate against people who have chosen not to commit to the meal deal in advance.
After all my very successful visits I am more than a little disappointed!
