Plum & Partridge

Had 2 night stay at Plumb and Partridge( our 3rd visit) was amazing rooms and fantastic food, staff were all superb. We will be back again. The fish and meat boards were so nice. Breakfast had a great selection and tried a few items from smashed Avacado to full English.

Called in on our way to the hideaway @baxby manor as we were early, only had a couple of drinks but received such a friendly welcome we went back for two meals during our 3 night stay! Really lovely pub, fabulous decor super clean and very friendly staff, would highly recommend.

Readers will know how rarely I give such a rating, but this pub and its location, service, food and accommodation merit it.
The small village location was delightful; people obviously take care of their gardens. We went for a short stroll after our dinner as the meal was much larger than we anticipated. I have attached some pictures. There was a warm welcome, helpful staff, great deal for dinner, bed and breakfast including a dinner credit of £60 for the two of us. The ensuite and bedroom was large, excellent shower.
Three small things to be resolved would be the rubber mat covering the worn carpet by the ensuite door, and the mattress needs replacement (I could feel the springs). Breakfast was from 8.30am, but the serving table for cereals and milk was not ready at that time.
Despite these, the overall ambience, food and service make this a 5 star find.

Absolutely lovely pub! We came her for Sunday lunch while camping nearby. The food was top tier, honestly the best roast dinner I have ever had! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Good price and amazing quality. Compliments to the chefs and team at the Plum & Partridge. Would highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We, as a group of 23, had a great lunch. Pre lunch drinks in the beer garden to the front, the weather was fine, followed by a really good value meal where all the feedback was excellent.
The views to the back are really exceptional and the pub I in a classical Yorkshire village.

My partner and I stayed here for 1 nights on Valentines Day.

From the moment we got there everything was fantastic, the place itself is really nice, all slick and span with a log burner going.

The room we stayed in was great, very clean.

Our evening meal and breakfast were superb today the least. Amazing food.

But the best part is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

We stayed here for a few days recently. We had a fabulous stay at the plumb and partridge. The hotel was very clean, well organised, great location, modern stylish refurbishment, superb food and above all else friendly and very helpful staff. I could not recommend this pub enough!
